Michael Kennedy
Associate

Mike’s practice focuses on labour and employment law. He advises and represents employers and employees in a broad range of workplace matters, including wrongful dismissal, employment contracts, human rights issues, and employment-related litigation. He’s known for his practical, strategic advice and being an effective advocate at every stage of a dispute.
Before focusing his practice on employment law, Mike developed a strong foundation as a civil litigator and has extensive experience appearing before the Courts.
Mike earned his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he served as a Senior Editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal. His legal scholarship has been published in both the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and the Windsor Yearbook of Access to Justice. Prior to law, Mike worked as a journalist. This experience sharpened the advocacy, writing, and strategic communication skills he now brings to every client matter.
Mike’s strong suit is negotiating. As a father to two young dictators, he’s well-versed in managing extreme demands and navigating irrational ultimatums.
