About Jessica Donen:
Jessica Donen is an articling student at Levitt LLP. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Manitoba.
During her time at Queen’s, she volunteered with the Queen’s law legal aid and pro-bono student association where she represented clients in civil and criminal proceedings. She also served as the Vice President of her class in 2016 and acted as the President of the Jewish Law Students Association in 2015.
During law school, Jessica worked for the Worker’s Compensation Board of Manitoba as a summer student case manager representative where she was acted as a liaison between workers, employers, and health care providers.
Jessica is passionate about advocating for employee rights and ensuring that employees are able to work in safe and comfortable workplace environments. Since joining the firm, she has advanced her skills as a litigator and has become a strong advocate for employees facing unsuitable working conditions, discrimination, and human rights violations in the workplace.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys canoeing, camping, and backpacking, as well as playing a wide array of sports such as soccer, basketball and ultimate Frisbee. She is a certified scuba diver.
