Justin is an Associate with LSCS Law who practices employment and labour Law. Prior to joining LSCS Law in 2020, Justin practiced at the Toronto office of a large national law firm, where he advised employers in all areas of employment and labour law, including employment agreements, employment standards, human rights, labour relations, workplace safety and insurance, privacy, occupational health and safety, accessibility, pay equity, and wrongful dismissal. Justin also advised on the employment aspects of corporate transactions and assisted with mediations, arbitrations, and various stages of civil litigation in Ontario’s courts and tribunals. Whether as an advisor or advocate, Justin provides insightful, comprehensive, practical counsel borne of an intimate knowledge of his client’s business or circumstances.
At the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Justin studied employment, labour, and discrimination law. Justin also worked as a caseworker and division leader in the tenant housing division of Downtown Legal Services throughout law school, representing tenants in various matters before the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Prior to receiving his Juris Doctor, Justin completed a master’s degree at the Munk School of Global Affairs, worked in provincial politics at Queen’s Park, and taught English in South Korea. Away from the office, Justin is an avid reader, filmgoer, and basketball player.
