Yusuf Buttar is an associate with Levitt LLP who practices in the areas of labour and employment law, with a focus on litigation and advocacy. Yusuf demonstrates a strong commitment to this area of practice and particularly enjoys working with clients to help resolve challenging disputes.
Yusuf has a strong background in advocacy and litigation. During his time at Osgoode Hall Law School, he participated in the year long anti-discrimination intensive, during which he worked at the Human Rights Legal Support Centre. During this time, Yusuf regularly appeared before the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal where he gained advocacy and litigation skills. As an articling student at Ministry of the Attorney General, Crown Law Office – Civil, he further developed his litigation skills when representing various Ministry clients.
In his spare time, you can find Yusuf either on the basketball court, ball hockey floor or at the golf course.
