Katherine joined LSCS Law as an articling student in August 2020.
Katherine earned her J.D. at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. During her time at law school she was an executive member of the Labour and Employment Law Society, where she put her passion for advocacy and organization to work educating her peers and bringing together likeminded students.Throughout law school Katherine worked for Pro Bono Students Canada, where she worked closely alongside Legal Aid counsel drafting legal documents, advocating for low-income litigants and assisting them in navigating the Ontario court system. In this role she garnered rare insight into the inner workings of the Ontario courts and developed a keen interest in Human Rights law. During her time at law school Katherine also honed her oral advocacy skills by participating in a moot and two intensive trial advocacy programs.
